Royals Out In style at Royal Ascot Ladies’ Day

King Charles and Queen Camilla have attended the third day of Royal Ascot, known as Ladies’ Day, where punters are encouraged to add a bit of colour and creativity to their race-going outfits. The Princess Royal, her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, her daughter Zara Tindall, and son-in-law Mike Tindall joined the King and Queen in the royal box. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were also in attendance. The King and Queen, who took on Queen Elizabeth II’s racing horses, had a thoroughbred entered in the King George V Stakes. Unfortunately for them, the bay gelding Gilded Water and jockey Tom Marquand could only manage 12th place. Report by Iain Jones.

  1. I’m a few years younger than the King and I don’t know how he and the Queen go to something everyday. I would have to have at least two days off after a big engagement like that. 😂. Was William & Catherine there? I didn’t see them.

  2. ¡¡Qué sigan las fiestas: "Día de las Ladys"!!!, "todo suspendido por elecciones", mientras Sunak se enfrenta a los miles de refugiados que están entrando por Canal de la Mancha, "¿por obra y gracias de los Liberales?".

  3. We don't have any elegant, graceful events like this in America.
The King continues to look well, God bless him, and everyone is dressed so beautifully. Love those hats!

  4. Nice of the royal family to have the super sick, super fragile, super stunning, decade younger looking Catherine be alone with all the children during trooping so now she is too exhausted to attend the beautiful day Ascot but you all can party with her parents….pls give us a break!

  5. Ustedes van a divorciar a William de Kate para casarlo con la Princesa de Asturias⁉️ Es por la reciente cobertura de La Casa Real.

  6. Loved the way he tipped his hat. Someone he knew perhaps. My dad used to do that, it’s a lovely habit that’s dropped by the wayside. So nice the weather is good. Hope the king is taking it easy. How his mother would have loved this 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺

  7. A charming if somewhat archaic ritual of the royal family. It shows them at their best with none of the tiresome 0nline criticisms we have seen recently.

  8. Fantastic KING CHARLES III, long long live long live, congratulations, huge support, excellent moment, beautiful man, whishing you a great day congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍😘👑🦋🌹🇬🇧🙏❤️

  9. Whenever she is there, I ALWAYS look at Lady Sarah Chatto (Princess Margaret’s daughter). She is always very elegant, perfect proportions and colors of clothing and accessories. In my humble opinion she is always the best dressed.

  10. Is it possible the Royals have outdone themselves this year? The men, always dapper, but the ladies have been perfection. Queen Camilla looks stunning in white. Zara has been sublime this year.

  11. You may already know this, Meghan Markel introduced a new product to her " brand " but that's not what caught my attention, the necklace she was wearing an inverted cross. If you wear that in the US…that makes you a witch.
