How common is this? That looks like a lorry from a quarry. A six-axle lorry like that is rated for vehicle weight + load weight of 44 tons. Empty it’s what, 20 tons?

Another 16 year old could drive past them in a JCB fastrac with a 25t excavator on the back and it would be perfectly legal🤷

In fairness, driving monstrous agricultural machinery on public roads at 16 is legal but it’s ridiculous because many of them are driving insanely fast on country roads and those laws were created when this machinery was much smaller and tractors could hardly do 15 Mph, those laws need to be changed because there’s a lot of Teenage hooligans in tractors on country roads all over the Island !
4th year work experience, nothing to see here
