Here we go again

  1. It’s 12 weeks to election. This is the maximum amount of time the DUP could collapse Stormont for and still draw full salary.

It’s akin to screaming “You can’t fire me, I quit”.

The DUP are trying to appear hard-line, yet have waited until they won’t take a financial hit, until the issue becomes another dead-cat to distract the Tory shitstorm in the UK.

As long as the Civil Servants carry on obeying the law (as they are currently) of carrying out the required checks? This is a non-issue in so far as the NIP is concerned. Unless/until the inspections stop, then it becomes problematic.

What’s very interesting is the HMG view that the border controls are a matter for the NI government. I’m sure the Scot’s will be delighted to learn that border controls and tariffs in the UK are now a devolved responsibility.

To anyone in NI who isn’t registered to Vote?
Get on the register and vote your conscience come the 5th of may.

Do ye want to be held hostage to the whims of DUP and their whims? Or deal with real politics and politicians who represent people?
    Rather than churches and bigots.

  2. Honest question in the last 20 years are the DUP the most incompetent party in Ireland? They consistently are in one crisis or another. Fianna Fail, Fianna Gael, Greens has messed their electorate around but DUP just jumping from one crisis to another.
