  1. > I feel like The CW that I was a part of last year is not The CW that I was a part of under [former chairman and CEO] Mark Pedowitz for that entire, almost 20-year stretch. They’re just changing the network around, where it’s not really going to be a TV network as much as it’s going to be, “Here’s something fun for an hour that you’ll never watch again, but hopefully you watch it. And it’s cheap!” And I hate to say that, but I’m just being honest. I mean, fuck it. They can’t fire me again. I’m just being brutally honest. I think it felt to me like they were looking for really easy, cheap content that they could fill up time with.

  2. so no more tv shows on the cw. they are going the way of the syfy channel.

  3. He’s well known as a prima donna, and this just seems like biting the hand that feeds you. Give me Jensen Ackles any day! 😜

  4. Nexstar has always ran things on the cheap. Not surprising that’s how their gonna run their shiny new network.

  5. The CW has always been awful, and at the same time it has never been profitable. I’m sure he’s pissed about the loss of a consistent gig, but the world isn’t going to miss the CW and the very lazy shows they have a history of putting out.

  6. CW has been a garbage network the last few years, likely longer. Nothing of value was lost. If Walker is as good as he thinks it is, it’ll end up elsewhere, like CBS.

  7. The WB49 is going downhill

I enjoyed Walker. I mean, it’s not a great show, but it’s enjoyable. I grew up watching the original. Not that it was good.
