United fans think that even 50 million seems like a lot for De Ligt is because most United fans falsely assume that De Ligt didn’t play because the other CBs out performed him and not because Tucheliban was a shit manager. The 250k a week wage also seems like a lot hence why more than 50m doesn’t seem feasible for Ineos. As a fan of both clubs I love De Ligt and would love him to start at Bayern over Upamaguire. However if the board keep on disrespecting him like that I would also love to see him at United.
There doing the same with Everton trying to get players on the cheap. Saying they won’t pay above and beyond for players, but they forget get they paid £80mil for Antony lessons learnt untied. You buy shit you get shit buy class you pay for it
