5. While this is welcome, I think having the Gardai tested is more of a priority than our politicians 

6. Drugs would certainly explain how the TD’s / Government behaves.

10. An old friend of mine once did coke with an Australian MP who went on to be a govt minister. They used her parliamentary access swipe card to chop it up.

    This happened about 20 years ago. I told this story before on reddit and someone *instantly* knew who I was talking about.

12. I get random drug tests in work, and I’m only in training for the job (which is not even guaranteed I’ll get, it’s very tough training). This is for safety of people who’s well-being will be in my charge. These fuckers should have to get tested too.

15. Implementing random drug tests for politicians and gardai is probably the best route to drug legalisation.
