There will be no audience, and the candidates' microphones will be muted at the end of the allotted time for each response. The next presidential debate will be hosted by ABC and take place on September 10th, while the vice presidential debate has not yet been scheduled.

  2. We have an economy where the unemployment rate is good but people are angry about inflation.

    So they’re gonna vote for the guy proposing tariffs(which make things more expensive) and mass deportations (which will raise construction and farming/grocery costs)

    I’m not some snooty elitist Liberal making six figures who’s telling you things are great. I am a single dude trying to live by myself in a medium sized city, and has had to resort to Uber Eats on The Weekend.

    I get things like housing and groceries suck, but the shitty price raises started in 2020, and Trump has zero plans to fix them

  13. Listening to the ABC coverage and their interview of regular people and oh my God I can’t believe some of the peoples answers. Like it’s not a hard choice. One guy cares about the environment. Should be an obvious choice without the debate. People are big on the economy but somehow don’t care about any metric that guides the economy. The kid who said gas prices were his biggest concern, I would love to hear what type of vehicle he has.

    The commentators are seated just like they do in ESPN. 

    They got “experts” and former players/politicians talking shit and debating strategy.

    It’s all a fucking show, but the outcome of this game will affect the lives of people in the entire world.

  23. I’m in my early 30s. I remember Howard Dean being essentially disqualified for yelling YEAHH during his campaign. I remember the Al Gore and Bush Florida debacle. Now, it feels like we are living in a fever dream compared to those days.
