“At all times and centuries, a Russian warrior beats a Prussian,” 1940s

  1. Propaganda or not, how on earth can one sell 1918 as a Russian military victory over Prussia? I mean, Russia’s war effort had collapsed and 1918 was when it signed a treaty on unfavorable terms to exit the war.

  2. I like that the Bursilov Offenisve (1916) has its own separate representation from the Great War more generally.

I get why, but still cool!

  3. The 1960 one was quite a fffuustration. Totleben in charge of Russian forces raids Berlin, Prussia looks fucked but empress dies and new emperor is Friedrich’s fanboi. He says “pls, notice me sepmai Friedrich” and peaces out while winning the war.

Russian absolute monarchy was such a farce.
