Last early night the Apple’s app store went crazy in Hungary, charging money from users en masse – the local banks reacted quickly, but Apple still hasn’t directly communicated anything about it in a day (seems quite unprofessional and arrogant from one of the richest companies in the world)

  1. Within your article:

A statement on [Raiffeisen Bank’s website](https://www.raiffeisen.hu/fooldal/-/asset_publisher/3yvyD1ghPjYw/content/teves-bankkartya-terhelesek-az-apple-alkalmazasbolt-iranyabol/maximized?_com_liferay_asset_publisher_web_portlet_AssetPublisherPortlet_INSTANCE_3yvyD1ghPjYw_assetEntryId=3734451) says that Apple is working to resolve the problem.

So they are working with the banks, you probably will get a statement when they have an idea about what happened.

I’m not the biggest apple fan, but your title is HEAVILY editorialized.

  2. holy fuck this basically destroys apple’s reputation…

  3. OP there is a rule on editorialising titles especially on adding your own opinion to the title.

That said apple doesn’t normally say more then “we are looking into it” so I’m not sure what you expect from them.

  4. Tell me you’re anti Apple without telling me you’re anti Apple…

  5. I wonder if apple is going to blame EU regulations for this too. ”If we didn’t have to share data with the EU this wouldn’t have happened!”
