I have like 0 knowledge about these and I setup my washing machine and dishwasher as shown in the image. But even if I select a cold cycle in the washing machine, it seems to be using hot water from the pipe. I felt the pipe in this picture and it was hot water. How can I fix this? Can it be adjusted with the knobs here in the picture? I googled a lot and couldn't find a proper solution.

Ask whoever installed that fire trap there to install a cold water line?
Honestly? Water above an regular power outlet?
Have you connected your washing machine to a hot water outlet? The picture only shows a, if correctly “labeled”, cold water valve.
