French legislative elections: how will young people vote? • FRANCE 24 English
young people out in force for France’s annual feda musique 35% of 25 to 34 year olds voted for the national rally during European elections for this teacher in the city of Exon provance the rise of the far-right party is a cause for concern I’m worried about the future I’m worried about my job I work in the social sector we’re already underfunded if we lose more funds I don’t know what will happen to my job the exstension rates was higher among young people than any other demographic during EU elections in France one in two 18 to 24 year olds abstained these two students didn’t vote and they say they won’t be given their ballots for legislative elections either we have no one to represent us who knows maybe something will grab me or I will hear something that shocks me enough to vote but as things are now no I won’t it’s something we hear all the time but it’s true we’ve never tried the national rally when I speak to friends about it it’s not a taboo anymore at the heart of their concerns the cost of their studies this group of friends are studying public management and are all currently on internships they say they’re only able to make ends meet with the help of their parents studying has become a luxury it’s the first year and we are paid under ,000 a month my rent for my my 15 Square M apartment is €600 I paid €200 for my car because I needed to go to work2 200 for petrol so that’s a thousand and that’s excluding car maintenance and food there’s this sense of bitterness when we have to tell ourselves we haven’t tried the far right or radical left they’re going to get us out of this mess in theory no like many young people they get updates about the campaign from social media especially from Instagram and Tik Tok where political parties are becoming increasingly present a trend that worries these students it’s easy to spread lies and hard to decipher what’s the truth behind it all especially in a world as complicated as ours and I’m worried by it all the information on social media is simplistic and that creates fear but also grows this attraction for simple ideas with just a week to go until the first round of Elections just how many young people will show up at the polls remains an enigma
French people begin to leave their home for the holidays in July, and more than one million have already registered to vote by proxy. Nevertheless, an Ifop poll predicted a 64% turnout, up 15 points from 2022. As for the youth, 60 percent of those younger than 35 did not vote in the European elections, but those who do no longer lean to the left than right. Story by Yinka Oyetade.

They realize that the Left actually hate them for being indigenous French, men, straight, etc. so the 'far-Right' are a shoe in.
Far right? No they ar just Right 😊
Seems the left isn’t doing their job in a sane world you wouldn’t be voting for neoliberals to help with cost of living but it seems France is doing just that
A vote for abortion is a vote for eugenics
