Does German chancellor Olaf Scholz have any advice for Keir Starmer?

in two weeks time we think there might be a labor government in Britain and I wondered if you had a message or some advice for K dama so I spoke a lot with him I met him quite often and I think he’s a very good pragmatic Social Democratic politician it looks it looks really good for the for the elections there and um um after that long time it’s something as a Social Democrat I look for no advice no advice and if I would give him an advice I wouldn’t do it in this room

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz welcomed expectations of a Labour victory in the UK general election and said Keir Starmer was a ‘good, pragmatic, social democratic politician’ on a panel moderated by The Guardian’s editor-in-chief, Katharine Viner.

  1. As a german, he should know all too well the perils of ineffectual and venal (neo)liberals who fail to address the underlying causes of rising uh "fashionism" and their inevitable undoing at those very movements (with which they ally against the left – which is the only thing that could ever help or heal anything).

In other words, any advice to Starmer should be along the lines of "stop with this pandering, go left, go fast, go now."
Of course he won't, because thats not his job or function. Such is the fash enabling neolibs that portend capital in peak crisis and defence mode.

  2. There will be no advice on the UK rejoining the EU if Starmer becomes PM because they are doing well without us and they clearly don't need us despite right wing claims to the contrary.

  3. Farage " ill pay the 150 billion in tax cuts by forcing the unemployed into work " Nick Robinson " Nigel you were on I'm a celebrity you should have been on FANTASY ISLAND " 😂😂😂😂

  4. I support social justice: therefore I oppose war-mongering, workers'betraying bogus labour party. The real one died with John Smith, in 1992.

  5. From B-liar to Starmer: a descent to the gutter: same war-mongering, 2 barristers as frontmen for the financial world which fully owns our beloved country..

  6. Sound advice from a hugely unpopular chancellor who stands hardly any chance at all to be returned to office at the next federal election in 2025

  7. It's a Trap.
Do NOT listen to Olaf dear Labour.

He is at 13% in the polls, that man is as trustworthy with Socialdemocracy as a fox is with a goose …
