200 years seems pessimistic, I’m surprised he can’t envisage a Labour government before that date, oh hold on, they won’t be planning on doing anything either.
Second best sounds great, I’m assuming Japan is best so anything just slightly crapper than them would be amazing please.
At least the North is getting some new trains, here in the south west, we are using old BR stock, whilst they aint bad (Especially the 158s and HSTs), they are gettinng quite old and in potential need of replacement at some point soon.
Burnham only cares about the “north east” up to the point of manchester…. I wish he would stop banging on about the north east when he only cares about his part of it
