People are making a big deal of the offside yesterday, I can never understand how someone complains about something being so accurate, not to mention people who are calling to change the rule without offering a proper replacement, the most stupid argument is “come on it’s just x mm” like if they allow that x margin people will start complaining when someone is offside by x+1mm

4. Just a quick thought as to why we didn’t get an Olise announcement yet. Crystal Palace isn’t under pressure this financial year to meet PSR, so it may be that they asked us to finalize the deal with them in the next financial year starting tomorrow to have no worries for the next year as well.

5. Happy for the win but the weakness of this team is obvious to anyone now. Kroos is there for build up. Andrich for Physicality. If Kroos gets man marked by multiple players the build-up just doesn’t work, Andrich is too limited for that.

   It’s the same problem we had with Nagelsmann here when Kimmich was marked and Goretzka was forced to stop hiding from the ball.

   I know the dynamics change each summer and him signing an extension last year also changed how the negotiations are playing out this summer. But this is the longest transfer saga I can remember. We’ve been negotiating off and on now for the last 10 months.
