2. They had to show that the EU couldn’t be held hostage by one country’s leader.

3. Finally, Hungary has been neutralized from blocking aid to Ukraine. I wouldn’t be surprised if other EU countries will ignore Hungary in other matters if the obstinate country give objection again.

4. Keep in mind that this is funding from frozen Russian assets. Unfortunately the main source of funding from EU is still unavailable due to Hungary.
