  1. Wow, this has been such a wild story. I know he did a/some terrible thing(s) and probably made some poor choices but the whole situation is just sad.

Edit: I was annoyed at the lenient sentencing and how smug they apparently were but man, if this is karma then it feels like empty, sad nothingness.

  2. Is this normal?

I’d get it if they said they didn’t expect to find him alive, but presumably they’d still want to find a body to rule out foul play.

  3. As a general rule of thumb, a person can survive without water for about 3 days.

Jay Slater has been missing for 12 days.

  4. Enough resources were spent of the court case for the violence he chose to be part of and I’m sure his drug dealing has had enough of an impact on society that I’m ok with them no longer wasting even more resources looking for him. Whatever trouble he got himself into, whoever he tried to rip off, the scam is done. Enough of this circus.

  5. He’ll get that £40k from the GoFundMe now and go live a carefree life as scum some place else. Genius scam!

  6. There’s wild boars in Tenerife so I assume he’s been hoovered up by a pack of them.

  7. It’s looking like he’s involved in drug supply and with some shady folk. If that’s true, and he did actually cause someone a financial loss – he’s probably at the bottom of the sea on one of the routes they use between north Africa and the Spanish islands.

  8. So by all reports he was a horrible human being. And only 12 people turned up to help a drug dealing violence dealing asshole.

    Does that sum it up?

He chose to walk across the mountains to get home 10 hours away. He has paid a large stupid tax and the world has lost a drug dealer.

    Sympathy for his mum
