Hello, so a few years ago I’ve been on a trip to Greece. Great memories from there and a lot of photos of your veautiful country. Still after all these years one thing bugs me. What is this food? I remember buying it from a street stand in Thessaloniki, but I didn’t bother checking what it’s called back then. It get’s worse as I this is the only photo I took of it. I don’t know if this is a Greek thing or not, but I don’t have any other clues about it and since I liked it, I would love to know at least what it’s called. I wouldn’t be suprised though if this post doesnt lead anywhere. Any help aprecciated.
Edit: Thank you all for answers, though I feel a bit stupid now, not realising the answer was that simple!

It’s probably a Greek loukoumas (λουκουμάς). Was it like this https://images.app.goo.gl/9SvLTMjUjkYTWaLS6?
Could also be a donut with sugar.
What was its full shape?
It’s a donut with sugar topping, not loukoumas. Loukoumas is smaller, round and has no milk or sugar in the dough.
It’s a donut.
Can hear the sweaty guy at the beach right now shouts “Fresh donuuuuts”
As one of collegues used to say, it’s a donald
Grandpa used to get me loukouma as a breakfast
