  1. Great, more private police. Just what this country needs. And this will be followed by private prosecutions for profit (just like the post office). This has the veneer of well intentioned community improvement but watch this turn into prosecuting people for being drunk on a night out or putting down a bag and shouting “littering!”

  2. Hopefully they will recruit people who aren’t doing it for a power trip, or to impose they own personal verson of morality.

  3. I like how the first issue they bring up is rough sleeping.

Really sets the tone for our cyberpunk future.

  4. Right, antisocial behaviour like not wearing your hijab or driving while being a woman.

  5. I love they have no shame advertising their social cleansing objectives.

  6. Wow , they look like police to me ! Bobby’s on the beat again , what a novel concept . Hang on a minute do they actually have ANY powers ?

  7. Great, those complaints about anti-social behaviour will surely go to the bottom of the pile and never, ever be addressed just like all the anti-social behaviour reported by citizens everywhere in this country.

I can’t even get the police to move their asses and arrest the guy I have on video assaulting and beating me with a pipe in a road-rage incident. On video, clear view of face, license plate on record, I was on the phone with 999 at the time of the attack, gave a live description of everything to the operator, perfect description of assailant, injury report from the hospital, witness statements… oh and a **literal confession on police bodycam** from the guy.

… nope, can’t be bothered with that shit, too busy going after people being mean on the internet.

  8. More money for businesses to fork out for when they already pay rates and taxes for this kind of thing?
