Last night's storm left some very sad scenes. This is a beautiful park in Mersch famous for it’s tree rows. Those who visited it know its true beauty. Today, little of it remains. 💔 Park is currently closed for visits and it’s not official when it will be opened.

Is it normal for that type of tree to have such a shallow root system?

Super sad. The park is very beautiful. I hope the commune can replant quickly and hopefully save some of the damaged trees. This is not a normal weather for Luxembourg…
