  6. Sounds like they’re invoking the same kind of “Mother of all wars” rhetoric which Saddam Hussein used, before his army and reign were utterly obliterated in a rather one-sided fashion (and yes, I know Israel alone isn’t United States with its allies, but still).

  17. Y’know what, call the bluff. I’m very curious how much of Iran’s population will willingly go along with said madness. They can’t even get them to wear hijabs, but they’re supposed to die for you? Maybe an existential threat will get things moving along there.

  22. Other than an air campaign, Iran would need to cross other borders. Not that Jordan would defend Israel, but they would defend themselves from invasion, and the US would more than likely defend Jordan.

  23. Neither Israel nor the US have shown their cards with regard to their capabilities and flex for full-out war. Iraq and Afghanistan were regional conflicts. Iran vs Israel and allies would be a middle east focused world war.

  24. I would love to see Iran’s government and “religious” leaders destroyed.
