  1. Based on the reports about it, the correct choice.

    Glad he was released, although I suspect he’ll have to spend a long time dealing with the trauma of what he saw.

  2. Thank God for that! He and the others who tried to stop the stabbing are all real heroes. I’m not sure I would feel any guilt over killing the stagger instead of giving him a chance to go to court and possibly being deemed mentally unstable or some other crap with a light sentence.

  3. It sounds like the car was stopped with the attacker underneath. That’s certainly an effect restraint.

  4. I mean I’m weary of the dangers of encouraging this. I have nothing but respect for people who try to stop these attacks, but the sad reality is nine times out of ten it just ends with two stabbing victims instead of one.

    Having said that I think they have undeniably made the right choice. I would wish it had come sooner, but its probably best to do this through the right channels.

  5. Thank god. Took a while though. They managed to arrest him quickly enough but obviously did little to stop the actual criminal who went on to kill this poor lady. RIP.

  6. Met police not taking crimes against women seriously AGAIN!

    The guy breached a stalking order then didn’t turn up to a court hearing, it should have been plainly obvious he was going to do something to her and they left him on the run for 3 weeks! Shocking.

  7. Motorist;

    “I hope that in my actions a message has been sent to society: should you see an evil it is a duty upon you to stop it with your hands, if you cannot then you should stop it by speaking out, if you cannot then at the very least you should hate it with your heart. May peace be upon you all.”

    That thinking is from the Muslim faith and a direct quote from the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)
