I found these documents about my great-great-great grandfather who immigrated from Belgium to America, but I don’t speak Dutch and I can barely read the handwriting.

  1. Can’t read everything about is but looks like a birth certificate. I hope solen else has the time to fully translate it for you

  2. This is very difficult to read, the one thing that is super clear is that it is a birth certificate.

The rest is likely date and time, address where his parents lived at the time and so where he would go on to live as well.

But again the writing is so small that it is more a question of being able to read it, than being able to translate it for you

  3. Post a better quality picture, perhaps? Barely readable…

  4. If nobody translates it, i can do it tomorrow when i have my PC. Too much of a hassle on my phone. Remind me!

  5. You need a better scan for this way too perfect writer. geez that griffier is skilled!
