I would give that article an score of “it’s okay”. The issue with these articles is that they make a mountain out of a molehill. Finland doesn’t have exceptionally low disposable income nor purchasing power. Safety and equality weren’t really mentioned. The whole story built itself on some abstract mindset of being satisfied instead of always trying to get more. I am sure that does play a role but I wasn’t really convinced at the end of the article. At least it wasn’t one of those “Finnish kids have no homework” or “There are no homeless people in Finland”
