    One would think that being able to string a few sentences together and make the case against Trump would be a minimum requirement for the nomination, but nope.

  8. It would serve no purpose to have mentioned it. Biden was incoherent for half the debate, being unable to retain any train of thought and Trump would have simply denied it. The whole purpose of the debate was to build voter confidence in Biden and it failed spectacularly. Let’s not act like this was a great missed opportunity to corner Trump when he barreled through Biden and the “moderators” with piles of lies.

  13. “The debate” didn’t ignore Project 2025. Joe Biden ignored Project 2025. Maybe the moderators could have brought it up, but it was primarily the President’s job.

  14. Biden couldn’t even articulate his stance on abortion, what makes you think he could talk about Project 2025 any better? Abortion! That’s the easiest topic to talk about and he messed it up. He somehow ended up looking worse on abortion.

    Also, Project 2025 is supposed to be an attack line to use for Biden. If the moderators didn’t have it as a question, then it should be the candidate bringing it up as an attack line.

  18. This is a travesty, the Supreme court is corrupt and can no longer be trusted to make sound rule of law decisions. Not only has the Supreme court been corrupted also Judge Cannon has been bought and paid for. The GOP will stop at nothing to get Trump into office and take down our Constitution and rule of law. Removing the Judicial Branch and putting it under the Administrative branch will further subvert power that separation of branches does. We as a nation must vote out all conservative trump supporters, that is the only way to stop this treason of America.

  25. The media is not going to prosecute Biden or the Democrat’s case for them. Let alone a place like CNN that is now overseen by a literal Trump ally

    The job of a presidential candidate is above all else a job of communication and persuasion.

    If Biden is not up to the task of prosecuting this case, there is no hope in November. No amount of whining at the media is going to make up that deficit. If democracy is on the ballot then it is paramount that Democrats have someone that communicates that threat coherently and persuasively. Right now, Biden is not doing that.

  36. This frustrated me to no end! Why are Biden and the DNC just assuming the general public knows about it?

    Think about if there was a Project 2025 drafted by the Democrats full of every extreme far-left position that MAGA Republicans fear monger their base about. The kind of policies that would sound comically over-the-top and most liberals would mock as exaggerated in order to scare people. Like: Completely open borders. Kids allowed to have sex changes at any age. Meat is banned. Mandatory DEI quotas. All drugs are made legal.

    Fox News, Truth Social, the entire right-wing media ecosystem would be talking about Democrats’ Project 2025 NONSTOP. Republican politicians would mention it in every speech, no matter the speech’s actual topic. They’d be putting out tv ads to air each commercial break on each channel and all over YouTube, with scenes of migrants killing people, riots in cities, homeless tents everywhere, and would say “this will be America under the Democrats!”

    They use fear to motivate their base, and IT WORKS. Democrats hate pandering and using tricks and exaggerations to reel their voters in. They want to pretend they’re the adults in the room and assume that voters will see through lies and that if only their policies were great enough, voters would naturally choose them. That’s not how it works. They need to start using methods from the Republican playbook. It’s like, do democrats want to be “right” or do they want to win?

  45. How, pray tell, would the CNN moderates have phrased a question about Project 2025? They didn’t bother to fact check any lies, so either candidate could’ve replied with anything…or simply ignored the question altogether.

    The debate was a joke and a complete waste of time.
