Hi everyone,
I'm planning a trip in late August to hike the Romsdalstien trail. I'll be following the guide posted here: https://ut.no/turforslag/114305/signatur-romsdalstien
I'm an experienced hiker so no issues there, but I have more questions about what kind of weather I should expect in late August on the trails.
A quick google search shows me this:
Temperatures typically linger in the high 60s Fahrenheit during the day, dropping to the 50s at night, while daylight extends for 14-16 hours per day.
I sleep quite cold, but this is actually much warmer than I was expecting at night, is this the case?
Secondly, I think the next thing I need to prepare for is rain. I am planning on bringing:
- rain jacket
- rain pants
- trail running shoes + lightweight socks + seal skins (waterproof socks)
Is there anything else I could do to prepare for the rain?
Thank you!
