Jay Slater GoFundMe goes £10k OVER target after mum revealed plan to withdraw money

the GoFundMe page set up by Lucy mayw for missing Jay Slater has gone 10K over Target reaching over £440,000 after his mom revealed her plan to withdraw the money his mom Debbie Duncan said the cash will be used to help the search teams and fly out supporters to tene the family will also use some of their money to cover their accommodation and food whilst in tene around 3,600 well wishes have donated to the page Debbie wrote on the page yesterday we are currently working with GoFundMe to withdraw a part of the funds which are being safely held I wanted to share that these funds will be used to support the mountain rescue teams who are tirelessly searching for Jay additionally since our stay in tener needs to be extended we will also use the funds to cover accommodation of food expenses I’m surrounded by wonderful people who are by my side but far from their loved ones so we’ll also be using part of these funds to fly them to tener so we can support each other during these dark times the page was set up by Jay’s friend Lucy mayw the last person he spoke to on the phone before he vanished debie was previously forced to defend the fundraiser after online TRS question what the donations would be used for

  27. Beware of “go fund me” there are too many scams on there. There was literally a young woman in America that was exposed for faking cancer to get thousands of dollars in donations.
    🤔 why exactly do these people need the extra money anyway..
