Doesn’t want to be the last Unionist to be in there before SF get a first minister position.
lasted longer than his predecessor..
Good , progress at last .
Its pretty obvious what their plan is and it will be interesting to see England’s reaction but I suspect they have colluded in this.
Possibly :
Shut down border checks (done)
Let England say this is a NI executive matter. (done)
Collapse executive so that they can’t be forced to re-establish checks (in-progress)
Leave NI in limbo
No checks.
It’s hilarious that a bunch of cunts see the DUP and are like “yeah, that’s who I feel best represents me”.
Is there no end to the DUP’s stupidity?
Surely this is case for abolishing power sharing as a way forward ? I know it was put in place to ensure both nationalists and unionists are represented but when one side consistently brings down government when they don’t get their way it’s clearly no longer fit for purpose in its current form
Perhaps a sort of first refusal style scenario – if the largest nationalist/unionist party refuses to participate in government the rules on power sharing become defunct and whomever can form a government then gets a shot?
