Do you know what exactly is considered *tea* here?
Is it meant every hot brew of herbs like peppermint or fruit tea? Or is it just meant a drink, hot or cold, made from tea plant [Camellia sinensis](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camellia sinensis)?
Çay
I’m surprised about Turkey and Russia.
Hell yeah. I feel like minority for choosing tea over coffee but it seem, that at least in Poland it’s not that unique.
i saw this post while i was drinking tea (yeah im in Turkey)
British tea is weird though, When I was in England at a colleague’s house and he offered to put MILK in my tea, I thought he was joking until I saw him do that and then he proceeded to drink it… Absolutely disgusting.
Thats why turkey and grece hate each other?
Fuck tea.
So the countries in Latin or southern Europe, usually don’t have a tradition for having tea, is it (partly) because of their climate conditions?
Brexit hit me hard when they decide to close local M&S, I love the M&S tea and now buying that tea from Amazon cost more than if I would go to London and buy it my self
And to think until today I thought tea consumption in Poland was probably below average.
Greeks be like: „No, I don’t drink tea. That’s for Turks.“
Tea is life, its for the sophisticated fellow. Coffee is for the wage slaves.
Even during winter when see someone drink tea instead of coffee our first thought is that he must’ve catched a cold and/or generally feel sick.
Not the case with Ice tea though.
So many countries haven’t discovered the wonders of tea.
