This makes no sense for Chiesa. Surely Roma is not offering same salary as us. I would be shocked if they do. In that case why not just take our offer and stay with a better club?

if i were him i’d just take juve’s offer at 5.5 mil salary rather than go to Roma
The fact that Roma is after him and not the likes of Bayern, Liverpool or Atletico Madrid, tells me that we’re doing the right thing in letting him go.
He’s simply not the player he was before his injury and doesn’t deserve the raise he’s asking for. He will end up with a lower salary than what we offered him.
