5. Going off on a tangent, Ann Widdecombe (featured in the article) has had a truly tragic political trajectory over the past few years. She was always socially conservative and religious, but she also stood out for her scrupulous honesty, integrity and lack of materialism. She had a strong social conscience as well; she was a communitarian Tory rather than a ‘no such thing as society’ Thatcherite.

   Therefore, although I strongly disagreed with her on a wide range of issues, I respected her for sticking to her principles, often in the face of unkind ridicule. Her verbal assassination of Michael Howard (‘something of the night about him’) was an absolute masterstroke.

   Now, however, she has become the angry, bitter Miss Havisham of British politics and worse still has been flattered by Farage into supporting a racket like Deform UK. That is a sad finish to her career and it shows that even honourable people can fall down rabbit holes 🕳️.

6. Reform, stand for all the wrong things despite what Fabergé(russian sympathist wank stain) says. Hopefully the British public see them for what they are. They are probably all tucked up in bed reading Mein Kamph.

7. Haven’t read the article but plenty of people on leftwing subs such as greenandpleasant are constantly wishing terrible things on tories and their supporters. There’s scum on all sides of the political spectrum.

12. Everytime I see a post about reform members it’s “REFORM MEMBER SAYS HE LIKES EATING BABIES AND HATES MINORITIES” and that’s only a slight exaggeration, is there any reason to actually vote for these guys?
