Rust Safety Advisor Says Alec Baldwin Pushed Back Against His Riding Advice: ‘There Was A Bit of Yelling’

  1. Not sure how a safety advisor who came aboard 18 months later and criticized Baldwin’s willingness to put his own health in jeopardy has anything to do with the loading of live rounds into a gun on set by the professional armorer, but here it is.

  2. This was a safety advisor that joined after the incident 18 months later (btw, holy fuck they’re still making this film?)

    The pushback in question:
    > Jordan explained that Baldwin, who has a bad hip, needed the help of multiple people in order to mount the horse, but he still wanted to ride very quickly over uneven ground. The safety officers advised him to keep it at a slow walk, but according to Jordan, Baldwin disagreed.

This is basically nothing. Unless I’m mistaken, the risk is entirely on Baldwin so he would be the only one hurt if he fell. It’s a bit different than making the decision to risk the safety of others. I bet there’s been many actors who have disregarded safety in the past but it never makes the news.

  3. Alec Baldwin shouting at someone?! Color me shocked.

  4. why did crew members walk away from set due to safety infractions? Sloppy is as sloppy does.

  5. Alec Baldwin cocked a loaded gun and pulled the trigger while aiming the gun at another person. Intentional or not, he committed manslaughter.

His PR firm has done a great job of convincing a lot of you to ignore those facts.
