In conversation, wealthy people know the first thing that separates the haves from the have-nots is the latter’s tendency to describe wealth in week/mo/yr income terminology 🏹
I was a bit surprised when I saw these figures. My wife and I (no kids) make a good living but quite far from 30k/m yet we feel “fortunate” (pun intended). We were able to afford housing and we don’t need to look at the prices when we go grocery shopping and can afford some nice vacations throughout the year. Also as good Luxembourgers we drive nice cars lol. So yes I feel “wealthy”.
In the end there’s always a bigger fish. Many really wealthy people would laugh at 30k/m and yes I agree that these reaaaaly wealthy people probably don’t talk or think in x euro per month.
