Charles previously knighted Starmer when he was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath in the 2014 New Year Honours for his work in the Crown Prosecution Service.
Considering Starmer only became an MP in 2015, not sure either of them imagined him being PM just under a decade later!
Second PM her late Majesty appointed Truss
Perhaps there will be somewhat longer period of stability now in British politics.
Interesting times for Charles to start his reign with, although he would have known politicians prior too
