I got this bread from the Green Welly stop in Tyndrum. I’m no longer in Scotland but I CANNOT stop thinking about this bread. It was so good!!! It had bits of swirls of yellow in it. It was almost sweet. No sultanas, just plain except for the yellow stuff. It’s the top bread in the photo. Does anyone know what it’s called?! I’d love to make it. My searches online have failed to find what it’s called. Thank you everyone

The “yellow swirls” make me think it could be a cheese bread
Madeira Cake?
Yes, this is likely bread.
If you were in Portugal I would say “broa de milho” lol Google it
Looks like pound cake where I’m from Did it taste sweet?!? Literally pound cake is made with real butter eggs and all the good stuff some people add fruit and other sweets to that as well. Most likely it’s something else but now I’m ready for some deserts
Biscotti? It’s normally a lot thinner than whats on your plate but worth a mention
Is that a prison, that really looks like a prison tray.

It’s definitely a soda bread, and based on your account it had something like almond marzipan swirled through it but idk because I wasn’t there
