Nike is set to play a crucial role in rescuing FC Barcelona from its financial woes in the upcoming transfer market. Previously seen as a “villain,” Nike has transformed into a “hero” by intervening at a global level and nearing a new agreement that will bolster the club’s economic and sporting conditions.

Key Points of the Agreement:

1.  Release of €18 Million: This amount was expected in the current season’s budget but was withheld due to contractual disputes. The new contract, expected to be signed between July 20-25, will unlock these funds.
2.  New Structure for Bridgeburg Invest: Barça Studios, now branded as Barça Vision, will undergo a shareholder restructure involving Nike and Spotify as key partners.
3.  Large Signing Bonus: The new agreement includes a signing bonus exceeding €100 million, distributed over the contract’s duration. This will help manage the club’s debts and potentially fund future transfers.
