Israel and its Arab neighbors | DW Shorts

when Israel was founded in 1948 no Arab country was a fan of that in fact Israel was surrounded by enemies for decades but 76 years later things look a bit different does Israel not have friends in the Arab world let’s unpack Egypt and Jordan were the first countries to normalize relationships via peace treaties with Israel but why the countries hope for economic relationships as well as water and gas imports from Israel later in 2020 the UAE bahin Morocco and Sudan followed suit but what made them Ally with their former sworn enemy one they’re all United by their fear of Iran plus they want to get closer to the US Israel’s greatest Ally in late 2023 Saudi Arabia also seemed close to normalizing the relationship but the big difference Saudi Arabia has made a pathway to a Palestinian State a condition for inking a peace deal with Israel the war in Gaza could jeopardize Israel’s Partnerships in the Middle East

  1. Israel 🇮🇱 is in it’s rightful place. The Bible is a testament to its right. It wasn’t written in 1948. The Middle East Arabs moved to North Africa and claim its their country. At least Israel have it historical record!
    Leave Israel 🇮🇱 alone!!!

  2. The World War 1 victors carved up the Ottoman Empire. In the Levant, a bunch of tinpot Arab dictatorships were invented. 100 years later, the tinpot Arab state are on the verge of being conquered and eliminated by Iran. Israel. the only successful state in the region, stands in the way of Iran.
