  1. Yep, it happens. Alcohol in special occasions like when turkey loses is 👌 but lots of alcohol all the time is meh

  2. You merely adopted alcohol. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t drink water until I was almost a man. – any fine gentleman born in one of the many regions famous for alcohol in Europe

  3. I’ll point out that Barry does a sub-version of it…

Scenario (and based on lived events):

first year of uni, international students looking at each other confused at the sight of freshly legal Barries getting absolutely trashed, swimming in their vomits etc…

All that because they had to fake ID/ask older relatives to buy them booze….

We were all looking, aghast, thinking “ok but that was high school for us, what is going on here?”

It was uncanny, besides the occasional American, everyone else, regardless of nationality was like “wtf …. is it their first time drinking or what… surely it can’t be so why”

Meanwhile in Europe, at 14 years old

“Buena seraaaa, posso avere un shot per fa

Certo ragazzi, che volete e quanti?”

I’ll also never forget the time we managed to sneak in our twin classmates in a club, they were both geniuses so were in our class at 14 years old and we were around 15/16. They dolled themselves up, we told them to not speak, act “petite womanly” haha and let their assigned boyfriends do the talking.

  4. Everyone i know basically stopped drinking at 18-19
