  2. Just saying. NY state is turning into a battleground state, Biden should be ahead 20 points while right now he is about 8 points ahead.

    Only people that want Biden in the race are those that say “I will vote for Biden no matter what”. Not because they want to win but to wash their hands when Trump does something stupid.

    These people are just as responsible for Trump as Trump voters because they have enabled Biden during every stupid decision he made.

    D internals (the *real* polling — everything public is basically just advertising for pollsters) are so bad that Democratic Congresspeople are taking the almost-unprecedented step of calling for their own incumbent to leave the race, because they think he’ll drag every other ticket down with him.

    I get that people want good news, but don’t only be skeptical about things you don’t like.

    Imagine a critical geopolitical event; imagine negotiations between Ukraine and Russia or Palestine and Israel and time-differences cause this to be past 8pm and Biden has a cold…

    Disclaimer that I’d vote for a corpse over Trump but if this is truly the best candidate Democrats have, then that is sad.

Everybody should keep in mind that while Biden is slipping in the averages these polls are put out by **media organizations that are clearly performing anti-Biden advocacy right now.** If you see a poll that is an outlier like Morning Consult then consider that perhaps they are resisting “herding” that is going on among other pollsters.

    I mean, the press is not making their preferences subtle. You should consider them when evaluating the information they give you.

  16. I’ve been saying it since 2019. Biden is trump kryptonite. He’s not my favorite but his appeal to fellow fossils in swing states makes him unbeatable for trump. This is why trumps FIRST priority when he became president was to try and wrap Biden up in an Ukraine scandal. He knew.

The mountain of evidence coming to light is only the “I told you so” against Trump, but his supporters don’t care about him graping minors or being Epstein’s bestie. They don’t care.   25. Denial and reality substitution isn’t a strategy. Look… I get that Trump does it and he does it more than anybody in history. But, objectively, by the actual numbers, Trump is on track to win decisively. If you look at that and think “maybe all the lying and denial made it happen” then we’re just hopelessly lost and democrats cannot be saved.

  27. While I have my doubts about the methodology of these polls (there’s no way Michigan is 12 points to the left of Pennsylvania), people who are calling on Biden to drop out have no idea what they’re getting themselves into.

    A brokered convention would tear the party apart, just 10 weeks before the general election. There’s no obvious choice. While I think Kamala would be fine as president, she is simply not liked by voters. Unfortunately, voters put a lot of stock in “likability” especially when it comes to female candidates. I hate that this is true, but it’s reality.

    I’ve seen almost nothing but support for Biden, and I live in a rich town near Milwaukee.

    Wisconsin seems to prefer Biden.
