  1. I live near mount Etna. There was no "4 years silence", a year ago the "near-by" airport had to close. It actually erupts once a month, maybe two, but it's very common, especially in the last years

  2. In the past years I’ve seen a few volcanoes on the news.
    Do they ever pose a threat? Tornadoes seem more dangerous and I never hear bout them
