  9. I can see Trump, the rapist pedophile felon, distancing himself away from the Christian Nationalist aspects of P25. For example, I cannot imagine him enforcing the Ten Commandments onto public schools. Regarding abortion, we know he has told a rape victim to “go get an abortion.”

    Look at Trump as someone who will destroy America for the sake of his wealth and self-preservation. He needs the Evangelical vote, and bizarrely, for now he has it.

  10. It’s interesting, and should be horrifying, that Project 2025 starts off its 920 page report with the phrase, cultural Marxism, because it has a dark heritage.

    Cultural Marxism is often used to describe liberals and as an analogy to political correctness. But more often than not, it is now being used by the far right, by antisemites, as code for Jewish conspiracy.

    Prior to 1933, there was a feeling in Germany that there had been a cultural and moral collapse. This fed the populism of the Nazis. The Nazis pushed out messaging that there was a plot to spread political, communist, and other revolution throughout the Weimar Republic and the West. This idea, building on Mein Kampf, has been pushed forward throughout history and has now ended up in Project 2025, blaming liberals for all of conservatives’ problems.

    Yes, Biden had a bad debate. But Trump is a danger to our democracy, full stop. Democracy is a Group Project. Vote Democrat down the ballot.

I love how Trump is trying to distance himself from far right Heritage Group’s Project 2025, after its leader said a second American Revolution would “remain bloodless if the left allows it to be”, but many involved have close ties to Trump and worked with him during his presidency, and would likely work with him again. Don’t believe him.

    Such as Russ Vought, who was Trump’s director of the Management and Budget and head of committee at the Republican National Convention, authored one of the chapters. Stephen Miller, who was a senior adviser to Trump, widely expected to be tapped for a top job in a second Trump administration, heads up a legal group on Project 2025’s advisory board.

    So, just like Trump cannot distance himself from the extreme policies overturning Roe, in the end, Trump cannot distance himself from Project 2025. Vote Democrat down the ballot.
