    But way overdue.

    Those early subsidies were way too high and needed to be scaled down years ago.

    Instead of getting a reasonable incentive for everybody over time, leading to continued support for investments, you now have a group making disproportionate amounts of money, hand over fist, and everybody else stuck with their bill.

    Raad van State en VOKA lawyers will eat them alive if contracts are broken.

    And rightfully so.

    It’s a shame that NVA needs to solve the mess of Freya.

  7. We should all be massively in favor of this, no? The problem with these certificates was the privately owned companies (looking at you, Katoennatie) who built entire solar farms, not the citizens who had 6 panels on their roof? So setting these mistakes right should’ve been done way earlier?

  8. Tip, check eens een jaarrekening van de energieleveranciers/producenten. Val niet achterover wanneer je de verhouding omzet/subsidies ziet.

  9. Ze gaan dit nooit kunnen uitvoeren.
    Die subsidies zijn wettelijk en contractueel vast gebeiteld.

    Ze gaan hier een grote te kluif aanhebben in de rechtbank en juridisch niet kunnen ontbinden.

    Denken ze nu echt dat die grote bedrijven die investering / gratis geld gaan afgeven?

  10. Geloof de Vlaamse Regering niet voor het gebeurd is. Nu toeteren dat ze volgend jaar beginnen geld te schenken dat ze weghalen bij bedrijven betekent eigenlijk: als die bedrijven niet naar de rechter lopen gaat het misschien door. En als we de rechtszaken verliezen en de proceskosten moeten betalen, verhogen we in de plaats de Vlaamse heffingen op de energie. En dan steken we het wel op de anti-Vlaamse rechters, de federale regering, de pers, de vakbonden, de vreemdelingen, Europa, Brussel en de Walen

    Kan iemand even uitleggen waarom onze minister van energie denkt dat boeren de juiste hersens hebben om dit probleem aan te pakken? Wat voor lege doos is dat gezeik over ‘gezond (boeren) verstand’, waarom moeten ze dat elke keer zo kanker onnozel verwoorden? Gezond verstand betekend letterlijk niets.

    This is once again case number 1.394.549 of reverting made promises to screw people over. You can’t incentivize people to invest in something worthwhile like self-produced solar power and then afterwards tell the people to go fuck themselves. This is the terugdraaiende teller all over again.

    They really think they are going to hit the big guys like Katoennatie with this but in reality it’s Jan down the street who invested tens of thousand of euros in a small installation.

  13. I’m sorry but everyone cheering that Demir and NVA who are now just shouting populist BS that this is an “injustice” should think twice. This is a government going back on their word and contractual aggreements, this is bad for business and in the long term for us as well. If they can go back on their words for that, what more contractuals obligations can they just break?

    There is a reason why the “raad van state” is looking at this.
