Zelenskiy Says China’s Xi Could Pressure Putin to End Ukraine War

The Finnish president sat down with Bloomberg yesterday and said Xi Jinping could end this war with one phone call to Vladimir Putin what role do you want to see China play I would like China to play a serious role it’s a big country and really it’s second largest economy and Russia really depends on it because they don’t have another place to export many of their goods because of the sanctions this shows that uh the president of Finland he is right China could play a tremendous role uh without weapons indeed without weapons they would be able to help us all to pressure putting into stopping the war that’s true

Russia’s reliance on China has gotten to the point where Beijing could end the war in Ukraine if it chose to, Finnish President Alexander Stubb said.

“Russia is so dependent on China right now,” Stubb, 56, said in an interview in Helsinki Tuesday. “One phone call from President Xi Jinping would solve this crisis.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said China could play a “tremendous role” in resolving the conflict, since Moscow is so dependent on its market for exports. He suggested that the US and China, should they put aside differences, could act together to end the war.

  12. The Finnish government or whoever is behind the Finnish government still does not understand the idea of national sovereignty. Russia and China are 2 separate nations. One doesn’t control the other. It seems the Finnish have extended their western view, since they started this war and continue to speak for Ukraine, they think other nations are arrogant and act like them.

  23. Its not Putin that's responsible for the war, 8 years of minsk alone proves that. Remember nato declared that peace will be achieved via arming Ukraine, in other words at the bsrrel of a gun. China, an ally of Russia will not assist the west in the defeat of Russia because they know only too well that they are the next target of the western war machine.

    Given this headline, why would the lead scorer by rank, position and condition with the majority already following his lead suddenly switch conditions?

    This is the kind of request of.him being asked no different then what they are asking of Z in giving up his while hes lead given the alternate condition!!!

    Keep in mind ladies and gentlemen, that we have an agreement among the players already given a condition at play, and so it will be a matter of the rest making these demands to switch condition and I only know of 1 of 2 (vi) they will have to lead by example in order to get these top ranked player to follow. (Are we getting to the next point? That point being who should be making the demands and to whom? (Top down. Rather than the other way around.))
