  13. I don’t like Le Pen, but it seems silly to call the political position of nearly 1/3 of the country the “far” right. It’s one of the mainstream positions there now.

  18. Why did Macron choose to have elections now when the Ukraine war is in critical time and he knows basically for sure his party would lose?

    Macron always talks like France is commiting 10% of GDP to Ukraine or something but in reality the contributions were minor at best and now he shows he really doesn’t care by having this election.
