  1. That’s fine if you want to vote Biden, but I’ve seen some serious denial on the internet about him. People still saying it’s just a stutter, a cold, he’s just old, people saying CNN rigged his microphone, saying the media has it out for Biden. Just absolute qanon levels of delusion.

  2. This is THE point.

Biden is no longer likable and has lost the trust of independents and now a large group of Dems.

  3. And Hillary should not have lost but she did. Trump should not have managed to get the second highest popular vote total in US history but he did.

  4. ***From Rolling Stone:***

“Given Joe Biden’s incredible record, given Donald Trump’s terrible record, he should be mopping the floor with Donald Trump,” said Schiff, who is campaigning for senate in California. “It should not be even close. And there’s only one reason it is close, and that’s the president’s age.”

Sen. Chris Murphy: “I’m not advising this campaign, but if I were, I would probably suggest that the president get out there and do a town hall, that he do a press conference, that he show the country that he is still the old Joe Biden, one of the best retail politicians this country has ever seen.”

  5. further proof the US is in steep decline: the fact that donald trump could become president *again*.

  6. The Republicans want to end democracy. Whether or not Trump is a criminal should be lower on the list of problems.

  7. Sure it shouldn’t be close, and scotus should not be allowed to directly conflict with the constitution either. This is not a normal election.
Defeating trump at this juncture would allow a return to normalcy, with flaws exposed.

  8. [Bobby sands](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Sands) was elected a member of parliament after being convicted of firebombing the Balmoral Furniture Company and the resulting shoot out with the police in conjunction with the provisional ira. Trump could do the same and his followers would find a way to justify it in their eyes.

  9. the real problem is the cancer of right wing stupidity thats become so abundant and effective in America.

there isnt ANYTHING that would make them not vote for their king Trump.

  10. Yeah it’s hard to run an election against the leader of an insane cult.

  11. Not only a criminal, but frankly a man that’s an utter fucking nutcase. Trump is unhinged , he’s a loon. How in the holy hell can anyone listen to him , watch him or read his tweets and think that’s a man who gets nuclear launch codes ? Biden may have fucked up a debate but he’s still a good man at heart, not a criminal and not frankly literally insane. Why is this even a thing people are struggling with ?

  12. A criminal. A moron. A rapist. A narcissist. A liar. A cheater.

Donald Trump is a bad person, a bad leader who supports bad policy. No, it should not be close at all.

Personally, I support picking someone other than Biden. I’ll still vote for Biden if he’s on the ticket, but would also vote for Newsom, Buttigieg or other Democrat against Trump.

  13. Why do Democrats continually ignore the reality of the world they’re campaigning in? Republican voters have said time and time again that they would vote for ANYONE over a Democrat.

More importantly, they keep pretending elections are fair. Just wait until you see the ratfucking at the state level. The GOP is all in on this election, because they dont plan on having another one.

  14. Well it’s going to be close no matter who is running against trump. A large portion of the country actually wants what he’s offering. Any belief otherwise is denial.

  15. He’s running against a candidate supported by oligarchs, in a country with legalized propaganda.

I wonder why more people aren’t voting based on facts, freedom, and sound economic policy.

  16. No it shouldn’t be close. If we didn’t need to worry about the EC this wouldn’t be a fucking concern. Right wing propaganda has a huge huge role in all of this. And that isn’t to say Biden doesn’t have issues with voters but we’re up against a Republican voting base where literally nothing will sway that core group.

  17. Democrats are running up against the problem that the worse Trump is and the worse they make him look, the more irresponsible it seems to have Biden running against him. Every time I see the argument that the media is fucking up by calling out Biden instead of trump all I can think is that they want Trump to be a distraction but really he’s a threat and the scarier he looks the shakier Biden looks.

  18. Biden has never been a strong candidate he just wasn’t trump

  19. Gonna be honest, this isn’t exactly just a Democrat or Biden problem. This is a media “both side-ing” the election. Trump is a huge money maker for mainstream media. They get rage clicks all the day, and they can pretend to “stand for what’s right” but baiting those rage clicks.

The media, including CNN, MSNBC, NYT, and WP all want Trump elected to help their bottom line. Go back to 2015 and the media was dying. Independent bloggers and street journalists were scooping big players by days or hours, it was supposed to be a democratic change away from the mainstream media. What happened? Trump was elected, and only the mainstream media had the access to report on Trump in the White House.

If the News media actually cared about reporting the news, every headline about Trump would be “Rapist, Felon Trump spews bullshit”, and we wouldn’t have had a full week of “Biden is old” it would be a week of “Rapist Felon Trump lied about everything in the debate and is incapable of telling the truth.” That is a non biased headline.

  20. Lotta calls to step down/aside, not so much with the people stepping forward… the “we don’t want bla bla” isn’t as helpful as stating what you do want IMO

  21. These articles serve only to take away from the truth. Your choices are Fascism or no Fascism. That’s it. Take the time to do word searches on things that are important to you on the Project 2025 manifesto. Keep speaking about it. This is not a game!

  22. That’s more of a reveal of how shitty Maga is rather than the support from Democrats for Biden

  23. After being banned 5 times in this sub for saying just that I have to say Didn’t I Tell You That MOFOs already. Now y’all put big pants on and let’s get a candidate that can actually win and functions outside of 10-4

  24. 100% or voters believe “democracy lives or dies with this election”. 46% think Trump will save us and 43% think Biden will save us.

  25. I think it’s a more damning indictment of voters than candidates

  26. Yeah, I agree. But Cheeto Benito won in 2016 against an actually accomplished life long public servant. So, people are fucking dumb.

  27. It’s close because 35-40 percent of the electorate are for trump. No matter what, also that 35-40 skew older and answering polls age. The wishy washy Dems and independents I feel like are voting against trump no matter what, the problem is the more they look at polls and say uhoh what’s going on the more that can influence the wishy washy to be more wishy washy.

  28. Trump being a convicted criminal doesn’t make Biden’s mental condition irrelevant

  29. This has been my argument.

Trump is the weakest, worst candidate in history. The fact that this is even close and that you’re not beating him in a landslide is reason enough to get bounced off the ticket in favor of someone who can win.

But the President has also barely campaigned this election and barely held events. This goes back to the bubble and his delusion that his record speaks for itself and that he doesn’t have to run the kind of national campaign any other major candidate would.

A typical Presidental campaign at this stage would be doing rallies and events in 5 states a day. Joe Biden can only work from 10am-4pm. He has to plan an interview or a press conference a week in advance instead of being able to hold them daily.

It’s difficult to come back from being down in a race, when you aren’t out there working for it. Grip n grin was always Joe’s strength.  He would shake every baby and kiss every hand. But these days he just can’t do it and the campaign is reduced to a few tweets a day and one event a week.

  30. But it’s also on Democrats to look in the mirror and ask WHY it’s close.

  31. It was close before the debate.  This isn’t about Biden.  It’s about stopping right wing dictatorship by a rapist and felon.

  32. “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?”

The truest, most accurate thing Trump has ever said. We got four years of Trump and his vote total went up by something like 15 million. This has nothing to do with Biden.

  33. I don’t give a shit I am voting for Biden no matter what

  34. Rolling Stone with their obligatory bullshit about Biden’s age.

  35. “She’s running against a TV reality show star, it should not be close”

Do not believe all the bullshit stories the bought-and-paid-for-by-Trump-Donor media outlets are pushing. They do not want Biden to run, sowing uncertainty and discontent is their mission. It’s all editorialized bullshit.

  36. Calling Joe out isn’t helping. Typical dem election behavior. Shoot themselves in the foot and then ask what happened..

The right is united. It’s practically a F-cking cult!
Stand with Joe and win. Let the system work or the next guy will tear it all down!
