War is basically their new ‘normal’ now ig. I feel bad for the innocent people
I imagine that the Syrian civil war could have turned out differently had it taken place today with easy access to FPV drones. Lot’s of TOW kills, but FPV drones would be far more numerous, and safer to launch for the operators.
Also the helicopters dropping barrel bombs would have use different tactics, or they’d be sitting ducks for the drones.
On the other hand, government forces would also use drones to their advantage, but overall would have leveled the battlefield. And then there was the ISIS factor where the movement ended up fighting everyone, other extremist terror group to Kurdish freedom fighters to superpowers. And had ISIS had access to FPV drones, it would have been real ugly. And they were one of the first to make good use of grenade dropping Mavics.
More like Qaboom! am I right?
Is Syria still in a civil war or is it at a standstill?
