This doesn’t answer the question about which exit lane to use. It was also published last year 🤔
Nearly had a fatal crash today, was on a 2 lane road and I was the lane on the right coming to a roundabout. came onto the roundabout that has 2 exits, straight through or around to the right, the car to my left was a little ahead to the point I could see their indicator on the left was indicating to take the first exit which is the same one I was taking which is never an issue, the nut case speeds up and continues around the roundabout on the outside line. I had to jam on the breaks as I nearly clipped their back. Would have flipped the car at the speed they were going.
Gave me a heart attack and I had to pull over to take a minute
