Dutch cuisine isn’t necessarily very good, I agree. However, you can choose almost every type of food of your liking when you go out to diner and the same applies to when you want to cook a meal. Almost every type of cuisine is available in the Netherlands

Dutch is such an easy language for a native English speaker to learn tho, and learning the language will help you actually make friends. Who would want a friend they can only speak their second language to lol.
