[Di Marzio] Chiesa was never even offered a contract extension. Right now his plan is to convince Thiago Motta in pre-season.

Its a cold world sometimes. Truth usually lies somewhere in the middle (No contract offer or Chiesa’s excessive demands), but hopefully this calms some of the vitriol I’ve seen popping up in regards to Chiesa. Hope he can prove his worth and get the contract.
I’d consider myself a hobbyist conspiracy theorist, but as of late Chiesa has appeared to have a bit more ‘attitude’ than when he first joined. And I’ve kind of wondered if this whole ‘sell Chiesa, buy Sancho’ has just been a ploy to get him back on board. Because selling Chiesa for 20, and getting Sancho for 40 has made little sense.
I don’t think this has anything to do with Motta. This has something to do with Chiesa and past season with Allegri
Some reports said he has attitude issue and not following instructions from the coach and just like Cancelo he will be sold
I just saw it’s basically a done deal he’s gong to Roma
Idk about you guys but its been a while since Di Marzio has said smth accurate for Juventus…So personally i dont rely on him lately…Romano..Agresti..Albanese..Pedulla..Di Marzio. Thats the order for me
Who knows what it is, but I think this might be a situation where Chiesa is following the instructions of the people around him and the club is not willing to become hostage in this.
Lots of politics behind the doors
To me, it seems as if chiesa’s camp is using di marzio as a mouthpiece. I wonder if he’s realizing that his best option is to remain at juve since he hasn’t been able to draw much interest from big clubs and he’d be forced to accept a lower salary and no cl at clubs who have shown interest (roma, Napoli)
That changes things if he never even asked for more money
