  26. I am sure it was a cesspool and he should have been impeached – in a public hearing – rather than having the easy way out. That said, this law clerk (presumably female – I didn’t read the full article) was a federal law clerk. That means (1) she had completed law school and (2) she did well or had tremendous contacts. Because federal judicial clerkships are hard to come by. Accordingly, she most likely took a class in sexual harassment. Also, she was an adult. Unless he forced himself on her, I have very little sympathy for the victim here. Who I really feel sorry for are all the federal clerks – male and female – who now realize that this, too, is expected of them.
