It's just intolerable. Same s#%t happening right now. And I guess I feel it more because I grew up in a country full of sun (Greece). But do Belgians feel as bad about it as foreigners who grew up in sunny countries?

  1. Yes, yes we do.
I’m half Greek too, I get the feeling. Greece just feels so much better.

  2. Italian here, popping vitamin D pills like my life depends on it…

  3. Yes, we most definitely do. This year has been depressing as shit, sun doesn’t seem to want to shine anymore in Belgium…

  4. The rain was a little much, but I could cope with it. Anyways I don’t like to spend time outside at temperatures > 25 °C. On the upside our quite fragile Belgian tap water supply is a lot safer this year and it’s great for agriculture.

  5. It doesn’t rain all day every day. There’s plenty of time to go out and do things, and you just bring an umbrella. The advantage of this weather is way more tempered temperatures, I find anything above 25⁰C unbearable.

For me this is, so far, the best summer in years.

  6. I’ve never seen a bucket of water be filled in a day, even less in a mere 10 minutes. Whole field turned into swamp because it already was saturated.

I know it’s normally 50/50 for sun or rain here, but it used to be a week of nice sun, then a week of mild rain. Not the angry sun from Super Mario Bros 3 and then enough rain to spawn Noah’s Arch.

  7. I hate those hot days like today, 30° before 17.00, all day airco inside, little oxygen, to hot outside to do anything useful
And then afterwards finally a cooldown and some oxygen in the air.

  8. I don’t handle warm temperatures well so this has been a lovely summer tbh. Also love storms haha. Mind you I do live near the coast so the weather is generally a bit better than elsewhere but yeah this is a wonderful summer for me.
